When Charlie joined us, we worked with a renown Detroit-area dog trainer who told me Charlie was a one in a million dog. Over the years, I began to understand what he meant by that. His carefully trained eye, after working with hundreds of dogs like Charlie, saw something special in my sweet boy. I recently had to say goodbye to Charlie, who reached 15 years of age and spent 10 of those 15 years with me. This is my favorite photo of him, captured in 2016 when he was still such a beefcake. ❤️
